I would like to know where is Jesus in the old testament. If everything was created through him , for him and he was there from the beginning, then why does he not manifest himself in the ot. God manifested and even appeared to many persons but why not Jesus.
Something that really makes no sense is why did Jesus say that he would return in the lifetime of his disciples and then Revelations also states in a few places that he is “coming quickly”. Its been more than 2000 years and he never came. For example in Revelations it says that when he comes he will bring to ruin those ruining the earth. Has not happened. When describing the events leading to the destruction of Jerusalem in Math.24, Jesus said that immediately after that time people would see the son of man coming and every eye will see him..this statement is also made at the beginning of Revelations. Jesus said that it would happen in that generation who were in Jerusalem when the signs started to take place and its very clear what he meant so why do people now after 2000 years, try to make his words applicable to us. Is that not whats been happening through out the centuries? I believe that people have been preaching ‘ the end ‘ since the first century so either we dont understand what Jesus meant by second coming or it just doesnt make any sense…and for what reason would God send his son to fulfill prophecy and then wait thousands of years ?..Revelations says that the first resurrection takes place after the wild beast (political systems) are destroyed and Satan is bound. I cant see how any of that has happened, so then no one has even gone to heaven yet. Both Paul and Jesus clearly state that the resurrection is spiritual as Jesus said “men will not marry..woman would not be given in marriage because they will be like the angels”..so more than 2000 years later and no ones in heaven..? It cant be because God wants to increase the population or get more people in heaven because he says that the resurrection takes place at the second coming. Did it happen in the first century? Decide for yourself.

Even the old testament tabernacle had three parts { outer court(body), Holy place(soul) and the most Holy place(spirit) }. When God gave the pattern for it in Exodus, he started with the most holy place ( Spirit) and then the holy place (Soul) very much like how this author explained about the Spirit giving life to the Soul .

When Adam & Eve sinned the Soul stopped being fed by the Spirit but from the knowledge of good and evil.

The thick veil between Holy(soul) and the most Holy(spirit) place is our will. When Jesus died on the cross the thick veil (will) was torn from top to bottom because his whole life he had said “no” to His own will and did His Fathers will.

So today we can worship in Spirit if we do Gods will and say “no” to our own will which can be done only with the help of the Holy Spirit as was the case with Jesus our forerunner.

I hear you, people. I too left christianity without leaving God. I went through Catholisiim, charismatic fundametalist, and evangelical. I have one things to say about it, IT DON’T WORK.

Christianity does not preach the gospel of grace and peace which Paul preached.

1] Christianity does not preach the finnished work of the cross.
2] Christianity does not believe we are all holy, righteous and perfect in Gods eyes. Christianity still beleives we are sinners in Gods eyes.
3]Christianity does not preach, we have been taken out of the sin of Adam, and placed into the righteousness of God at the death burial and ressurection of Jesus.
4]Christianity does not believe God loves all, accepts all, and approves of all humanity.
5] Christianity does not beleive God is not angry, He has been satisfied, appeased and pleased in His Son Jesus.
6] Christianity does not believe we are all ONE with God.

The understanding that we are ONE with God is vitally important. It’s NOT, God up there, we down here, and we down here struggling and striving in our OWN righteousness to get our deeds just right before God, so God can bless us. We need to accept the righteousness of God which was imputed on us in our ONENESS
God sees us righteous, weather we do it right or weather we do it wrong,
Also, its not us praying longer, harder and better to get God to change situations, and prevent happenings.
Happenings is just life, and it is not because we didn’t do something longer harder and better.
No, no, no, we are all holy, righteous and perfect in Gods eyes. We are one with Him.
Paul says in Romans,” the Gospel is the POWER of God, for therein the righteousness of God is revealed to you.”
The moment I realized I was one with God, I burst forth in freedom and power of God to live my life out of my heart, with no fear of judgement, guilt and condemnation from God.
We are the power of God in our oneness with God.
Try it, get rid of the concept of God up there watching you, but know you are joinrd to Him.
It will set you free.
There is no bad news in the good news.
