I Should Coco
…Because Jesus is a living person and not a dusty historic figure…
…Because the universe is expanding and receding, constant and yet constantly moving, swirling in pattern but a pattern of swerve and swarm, of ebb and of flow…
…Because time does not sit still and tolerate observation but rather races towards her Maker’s waiting arms…
…Because creatures adapt and assimilate, survival is born and bred, without change and movement, there is only the assurance of death…
… Because I am different–different than yesterday, not locked into the fierce proclamations of my youth, not pinned by the angry and aggressive reactions to my own self discovery…because I am evolving, adapting, rethinking, re-imagining, and ultimately am then reinvigorated…
…Because we have not yet attained but rather we press on…
…Because this is a journey of discovery…
…Because every river bed requires fresh water flowing in and flowing out…and every fresh stream carves out its own channel…
…Because He is New every morning…and is the God of Now…
That’s why the conversation must exist. That’s why the questions must be asked and then re-asked. That’s why we must think and then rethink. That’s why we must contemplate and then confess that we are naked and poor, empty and blind…and then move forward in the light of today’s day…
…Because He is building His church…
That’s why I am emerging…moving from something and towards something…inclusive but transcendent…evolving…adapting…changing…looking back but also looking onward and upward…
Emerging from what to what? Always from glory to glory, grace upon grace.
Are you?
The best part about believing this at all is that…even if you’re not…you can. You can emerge. It’s possible.
Would you?
“And we with face unveiled beholding Him are being transformed into the same image…” (2 Cor. 3:17)

Yes, living is the only way to live; and being transformed, into the same image; and it is possible. I don’t want to be dead. I want to continue, and to share life with all the rest of you, of us, that want to keep going too…
with love-for-life and respect,
Peter
